Terms

The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and deslgn for using the site and the studio. If you create an account or use the studio, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

The service

deslgn is professional motion-design software with a creative team in the editor. You can start from a brief, a website address, or a blank project. You can edit every layer, keyframe, camera, and sound. Films export according to your plan.

The product is still growing. Features may change. We do not promise that every preview, encode, or generation will be available at every moment.

Your account

You need an account to open the studio, keep a plan, and save work across browsers. You confirm the email with a one-time code, then create a password during onboarding. You are responsible for the email, password, passkeys, and devices on the account. Passwords must be at least 8 characters. You can add two-factor sign-in and manage sessions in the studio.

You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

Plans and usage

Plans, prices, included usage, export limits, history, and what the creative team can generate are shown on Pricing and enforced from the same policy we bill against.

Usage pays for creative-team work — planning, revisions, pictures, voice, music, and reading a reference or a website you submit. Each call is metered at what our AI providers charge for it, plus our margin, and shows up in Billing as it happens. Exports and editing by hand do not use usage. Music, voice, and sound-effect generation are included on the plans that list them.

Each paid month includes the usage shown on the plan. It resets when the next month’s payment goes through, not on a fixed date, and unused plan usage does not roll over. A run that starts with usage left may finish slightly past it; further work waits until the usage resets or you add extra usage. Extra usage you buy does not expire. Promotional usage follows the terms of that grant.

If a run builds nothing, we give its usage back. We do not refund cash for unused usage except where the law requires it. Changing plan takes effect as shown at checkout; an upgrade adds the bigger plan’s usage once its charge goes through. Some plans let you scale monthly usage; the price scales with the amount you choose.

Free accounts do not include usage, and have a project cap, a lower export cap, and a watermark, as shown on Pricing.

Your work

You own the projects you create, the files you upload, and the films you export. Every frame yours.

You grant deslgn a license to host, process, render, and display that work as needed to provide the studio — including sync and export. That license ends when you delete the work or the account. Copies you published yourself stay yours.

You represent that you have the rights to the briefs, uploads, fonts, music, and URLs you submit.

The creative team

The studio can plan and build films from your brief. You must review the result before you publish it. You are responsible for what you release. We do not claim ownership of the output.

Generated work may be similar to other work. We do not guarantee that output is unique, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.

Acceptable use

Do not use deslgn to break the law, to harm people, to infringe others’ rights, or to attack the service. Do not probe, scrape, or overload the studio. Do not share account access in a way that evades plans or credits. We may suspend an account that does.

Website addresses

If you paste a URL so we can read public pages for brand cues, you confirm you are allowed to do that. We only request public pages.

Payments

Paid plans and extra usage are billed in USD through our payment processor. You authorize recurring charges for a subscription until you cancel. You can manage billing in the studio. Taxes may apply.

If a payment fails we may pause paid features until it is resolved, and the month’s usage does not reset until it goes through.

Availability and limits

We aim to keep the studio up. We do not warrant uninterrupted service. Renders run on our servers, do not use usage, and follow your plan’s resolution, frame-rate, and format limits. A job that is too long may be refused. Available export formats depend on the service at the time you render.

Local drafts live in your browser. Clearing the browser can delete work that never synced.

Ending the account

You can delete the account from Plan & usage in the studio. Deletion erases the account, that email, projects, styles, renders, sessions, and billing. Unused usage does not convert to cash.

If a paid subscription is still active or past due, you must cancel it first. We refuse deletion while it can still bill the card. After it is cancelled, delete the account so nothing remains to charge. We may also suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, deslgn is not liable for lost profits, lost work, or indirect damages, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits; they apply only as far as they can.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If a change is material we will try to notice you through the site or email. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.
