Who we are
deslgn is a motion-design studio in the browser. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers deslgn.ai and the studio.
Questions: hello@deslgn.ai.
Information we collect
Account. If you create an account we keep the email you sign up with (after you confirm it with a one-time code), a password you choose on onboarding (stored so it cannot be read back), passkeys you register, and whether two-factor sign-in is on. You can sign in with a password, a passkey, or a supported sign-in provider. We send transactional mail for those codes, password resets, and email changes.
Billing. Your plan, usage, and purchases live on the account. Card details are handled by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers.
Projects and files. Projects start on this device. When you are signed in, projects, assets you upload, and exports can sync to your account so you can open them on another browser. Briefs you write and website addresses you paste so we can read public brand cues are part of that work.
Renders. When you export a film we process it on our servers. The job uses your project and your plan’s limits.
Usage we need to run the product. The usage activity (what each run used, grants, and refunds), active sessions so you can sign out a device, and security events such as sign-in attempts.
On this device. Theme preference, whether you have seen the site intro, and local project drafts can stay in your browser even if you never create an account.
How we use it
We use this information to run the studio, keep you signed in, charge the plan or pack you picked, generate and render the work you asked for, protect accounts, and fix problems.
We do not sell your projects or your email. We do not use your films as advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed to run the product: hosting, payments, and the services that make the studio work. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the service and the people who use it.
Cookies and storage
A signed-in session uses a cookie that only the server can read. It lasts up to 30 days and renews while you keep using the studio. Sign-in with a provider may set short-lived cookies for that handshake.
Theme and intro state live in your browser. Clearing local data removes drafts that were never synced. A cookie banner lets you keep only the sign-in cookie or allow optional storage. Login and logout times are kept so you can review devices on your account.
Your work
The films you make are yours. See the Terms. We keep project data so the studio can open, sync, and render it. We process briefs and public pages you point us at only to build that work for you.
How long we keep it, and your choices
We keep account and billing records while the account is open, and as long as we need them for charges, security, and the law. Version history follows your plan.
You can revoke a session from the studio. You can delete the account from Plan & usage. That wipes the email, projects, styles, renders, sessions, and billing from our systems. If a paid subscription is still active or past due, cancel it there first — then delete. That order is so the card cannot be charged after the account is gone.
Children
deslgn is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.
